Wedding look Low Cost

¡Finalmente he terminado con los exámenes y me fue muy bien! :) Hoy les traigo un look de boda accesible para todas. Luego para este tipo de eventos nos choca repetir vestidos y en temporada de bodas no hay cartera que nos aguante el paso. Este día recorrí mil y un tiendas buscando un vestido para la boda de una de mis amigas del cole (claro, típico yo de dejarlo para último momento). Entre a Zara por una falda y camisa que quería para mi cena de thanksgiving y me encontré con esta joyita! El vestido es super sencillo pero el escote en la espalda le da un toque especial. Al ser tan simple el vestido opte por ponerle accesorios súper llamativos y claro taconazo rojo. Como la boda era de noche le puse un abrigo de pelo negro encima que le quedó genial, súper elegante. El collar me lo trajo mi mamá de un viaje y fue amor a primera vista, ¿ustedes que opinan? Mil besitos.

Hey dolls! Well I've finally finished with my finals so you'll have me here more often. Wedding season is in full throttle and there is no wallet that can survive wearing different dresses for each one. I found this dress unexpectedly in Zara and I had to buy it. It's a very simple dress but with the right accessories it can go a long way. I decided to add this beautiful necklace and red pumps that took the whole outfit to the next level. I paired it with a black fur coat since it was cold at night and to give it an elegant touch. So, what do you think? xx

How to break a black and white outfit with a pop of color

Buenos y fríos dias familia, vaya mañana fría que nos regaló el DF hoy. Ayer comentábamos como el blanco y el negro suelen predominar en nuestros outfits de invierno y se puede volver algo aburrido. El color por excelencia para romper esto es el rojo, si añades una bolsa o unos zapatos rojos inmediatamente tu look cobra vida. Otras buenas opciones son el azul klein y para las más discretas el verde esmeralda. Este chaleco de pelo se ha vuelto mi fiel compañero para las épocas de frío, lo combino con casi todo, desde lo más casual hasta para ocasiones que exigen un poco mas de glamour. Ya lo irán viendo en multiples combinaciones. ¿Ustedes que color usan para romper un outfit?

Good morning people! Yesterday we were talking about how black and white become the main elements of our outfits during these cold days and it can become a tad monotonous. My favorite color to break this monotony is red, red bag, red shoes, red lips, they will all add a pop of color and "save the day". Other good options to do this is cobalt blue or if you want to be more discreet emerald green is an option. I wore my absolut favorite fur vest which I combine with absolutley everything during the cold days, you'll see it popping up a few times around here. ¿How do you add a pop of color to your fall outfits?

Morning Beauty Routine

¡Buenos días y buen inicio de semana! Finalmente llegó el cambio de horario y yo con sentimientos encontrados, despertarme con luz me gusta mucho más pero que se haga de noche tan temprano  me deprime un poco. En fin, hoy les traigo mi "rutina de belleza" de todas las mañanas. Mi mamá siempre me ha dicho que los productos que usas no importa tanto, caros o baratos o dermatológicos, lo más importante es la constancia. La regla No. 1 es no dormirse maquillada y siempre estar bien hidratadas (yo debo confesar que lo de la desmaquillada hay veces que me cuesta mucho trabajo). Yo me he dado cuenta que el casarme con un producto no me sirve mucho por lo que constantemente estoy cambiando, pero por lo pronto estos son de mis favoritos.

Hey dolls! Daylight saving time ended and I have mixed feelings, while I like wakeing up with a bit of sunshine I get a bit depressed with the sun setting so early. Today I come with my "beauty routine" for every morning. My mom has always told me that the products you use aren't as important as consistency. The No. 1 rule is to never sleep with your makeup still on and to stay hydrated (I must confess that the no makeup for bed is a bit tricky for me). I have noticed that using the same product for me doesn't work that well, my skin gets used to it and thay stop working after a while. These are the ones I'm using right now and are some of my favorites.

Para el maquillaje me gusta mantenerlo sencillo. Después de aplicar el bloqueador que ya lleva un poco de base me limito a darme un poco de color con mi bronzer, rimel en las pestañas (este es mi indispensable No. 1 y está de Lancome le ha ganado a todas) y definir mis cejas con un poco de sombra café que las tengo güerillas y me gusta enmarcar más mis ojos.

For my make up I like a more natural look. After the tinted sunblock I add some color with this bronzer, mascara on my eyelashes (I can't live without this Lancome one) and defining my eyebrows with brown shadow since mine are a blondish.

Rain boots for grey days

¡Buenos días! Aunque aquí en México de buenos tienen poco. Otra vez entra huracán y no para de llover, no acabamos de salir de uno cuando nos entra otro, en fin, para los días lluviosos no hay nada mejor que un buen par de rain boots. Estas me encantan porque se salen un poco de las tradicionales "Hunter Wellies" que todo mundo tiene, además de ser super calientitas porque están forradas por dentro. Este tipo de sweater/vestido me encantan, los puedes usar así con botas o con medias y tacones e incluso en esos días de diciembre que acostumbramos aquí en México (con tardes de sol y calorcito) solo con unos buenos tacones. Al final para salir de casa me lo puse con una chamarra de piel negra por si hacia falta ir un poco mas calientita y la verdad que completó el look, lástima que tuve que salir corriendo a clases y ya no hubo tiempo de volver a tomar las fotos.¿Que opinan, ya tienen un vestido/sweater para este invierno?

Hey dolls! Huracaine season isn't over for Mexico, sadly we are getting hit by another one and the rain just wont go away (yes, I'm singing the tipical "rain, rain, go away...." song in my head haha). I had to put on my black rain boots which I love not only because they are not the tipical "Hunter Wellies" but also because they are lined with comfy warm fabric on the inside. I really like this kind of sweater dresses, you can pair it with boots, like I did this time, or with tights and heels, you can even wear it only with heels if you have Mexican winter kind of weather (sunny and warm afternoons but still just a bit chilly). At the last minute I decided to wear a leather jacket on top just in case I got a cold but I was running late for class so we couldn't make any more pictures. ¿Do you like it? ¿How would you wear this sweater?

¡Feliz lunes a todas! Hoy les traigo un outfit muy espacial para mi. Esculcando en el closet de mi papá buscando una maleta me encontre esta camisa que resultó ser de mi abuelo y tener más de 60 años. Inmediatamente me la puse (sin pedirle permiso...oops!) y decidí que me la iba a robar jajaja. Si de por si me gustan la ropa de hombre, está camisa me volvió loca, el plaid en rojo y gris me encantó y encima de todo es super calientita por lo que hasta como chamarra ligera queda bien. Las fotos las tomamos en un bosquecito que hay abajo de mi casa para estar mas en ambiente rollo leñador. El toque femenino lo conseguí con los accesorios con este collar que me trajo mi tía de Pakistán que me encanta. ¿Que tal les parece?

Hey everyone, happy monday! Today's outfit is very special for me since I'm wearing my grandads shirt which I found in a drawer in my dads closet. I imediatley fell in love with the red and grey plaid and with how warm it is, you can even wear it as a jacket if it's not too cold. We took the pictures in a small forrest that's below my house to complete the lumberjack scenery. To complete the look I chose this gorgeous necklace my aunt bought me in Pakistan. Do you like it?

It's not love, it's Paris...

¡Buenos días amores! ¿Qué tal va la semana, las está tratando bien? Les traigo ya el último post del viaje, cerrando con broche de oro, en París. Esta ciudad por mucho es mi favorita, me encanta que todo es bonito y solo de estar ahí me pongo de buenas. Las primeras fotos las tomamos en Trocadero con la Torre Eiffel de fondo (si, lo se, el mayor cliche del mundo pero me encanta). Este fue un día en el que aproveche para ir a mi museo favorito, Marmottan Monet que para mi es un must! Obviamente me di una vuelta por Agatha para comprarme un par de accesorios, otro must! El look es super sencillo para poder recorrer todas las calles de la ciudad  comodamente.

Hey doll! Well, today's post is the last one from my trip, with a cherry on the top ending in Paris. I simply love this city, just being in it makes me so happy. The first pictures (I know, total cliché, but I couldn't help myself) were taken in Trocadero infront of the Eiffel Tower. We visited my favorite museum the Marmottan Monet and I did a little shopping in Agatha, two musts if you go to Paris. I chose a really basic outfit with my comfortable booties to walk all around town.

Día 2: Hacía bastante fresquito por lo que tuve que sacar mi chamarra de gamuza camel que queda con todo. Mis nuevos jeggings de Calzedonia que tengo que confesar que ya no me quito, mi bolsa de Fendi y como no, mis Superga nueva todas compritas del día anterior en Roma (Ese día nos quedamos sin batería en la cámara por lo que no hay fotos, sorry!)

Day 2: We woke up to a cloudy and windy Paris so I had to take out my suede jacket that goes great with almost anyting. I wore my new Calzedonia jeggings, Fendi bag and Superga tennis shoes, all bought the previous day in Rome (We ran out of battery so there's no pictures from that day, sorry!)

Por último el look que use para ir a cenar con mi "Frenchie" favorita. Sencillo pero arregladito. T-shirt blanca, shorts de piel y stilettos negros (que ya viste aquí) con mi sweater de lentejuelas 

plateado.
